Class Descriptions

Form and Flow

Walt teaches a breath-based class suitable for students new to yoga or those who enjoy a slower-paced class. Breathing, moving, and smiling are the requirements and the foundation of this class.

Deep, focused breathing has been proven to calm the nervous system and quiet the mind.   Walt teaches you how to do this at the beginning of each class and will encourage you to maintain this high-quality breathing throughout the practice. A series of strength-building standing and balancing poses are complimented by deep stretches for the hips and legs. This balanced foundation in form and flow will prepare you for more advanced classes. You will leave feeling renewed and refreshed, better able to be present and responsive to all those in your life, including you.

iHappy Yoga Flow

The energy in class is relaxed and the flow moves with the breath. This solid level 2/3 class will empower you to open your heart to release joy. Music will be played to create a fun, energetic atmosphere. You will feel invigorated to fully experience the rest of your day.

Joyful Yoga Flow

Jessica teaches a balanced sequence of yoga postures that connect the movement of the body with the flow of the breath.  This is a moving meditation that will calm your mind and reduce stress.  She uses hands-on adjustments and modifications to help you find that perfect feeling in each posture.  Take a 90-minute vacation and recharge for your busy week.  This is an all-levels class.

Mindful Flow

Mindful flow is a balanced practice that leaves you feeling better than when you walked in.  The pace is set and characterized by deep, fluid breathing. Brian guides the class through a gentle warm-up, then a series of postures designed to build strength, flexibility and balance. Class ends with deep stretches to relieve tension in the body and calm the mind.

  • This class is suitable for beginners and those that might need modifications. The collective group energy determines the pace of class.
  • Level 2 & 3 is an intermediate practice with longer holds, extensive balancing postures, and inversions. An understanding of deep breathing and basic alignment of yoga postures is expected.

Mindful Stillness

Brian teaches deep breathing techniques to safely guide you through a series of hip and hamstring yoga postures that relieve your lower body of tension and calm your mind. All of the postures are practiced on the floor—seated or lying down. The pace of the class is slow and postures are explored for one to three minutes. Brian encourages you to find your own perfect degree of intensity, adding modifications to ensure safety and promote a healing experience. This class is the perfect complement to any yoga practice or other type of exercise (especially running or cycling) and is appropriate for all levels.

Midday Flow

This hour-long class will energize you, inspire you, and recharge you for the rest of your day.  Class begins with a gentle warm up to relax and let go of stress, then shifts to an energetic, breath-inspired flow practice designed to build strength, improve balance, and gain flexibility.  Angela offers modifications and encourages you to find the variation of each pose that is right for your body. You will return to your day calm, renewed, and ready to handle whatever life presents.  This class is suitable for all levels.

Power Yoga Level 2&3

This class is an alignment and breath-centered intermediate vinyasa flow class, often thematic in nature, with a sequence designed to work towards a peak posture.  Kristen’s power flow will move mindfully at a steady pace, allowing you to refine and settle in to the postures, using your breath to create space and release tension in the body, mind, and heart. There will be opportunities for you to explore arm balances and/or inversions with guidance and instruction.  Specific options and modifications will be offered to ensure your safety. This class is challenging, fun, creative, and reflective. A basic understanding of yoga postures and breathing will enhance your experience.

Radiant Heart Yoga

Melissa draws primarily from the postures and breathing practices that led to her own heart-opening transformation and recovery from a traumatic childhood. She will encourage you to go beyond what is comfortable and relax into life. The pace of class is dictated by the collective energy of the group. Melissa will guide you through a creative sequence that builds heat in order to safely experience the final posture that the class is themed around. Restorative postures and deep relaxation techniques are practiced at the end of every session. Expect to leave her class feeling emotionally balanced and physically invigorated.

 Vibrant Awakening

Bring light and joy to the start of your day. This breath-inspired class will focus on the unification of the breath and movement.  David teaches pranayama techniques that will calm and soothe the mind, yoga postures to strengthen and stretch the body and heart openers to balance the emotions. You will leave feeling calm, alert, and ready to make it a great day.  This class is suitable for all levels of practitioners.
